Mynelle Gardens in Jackson, MS, hosted a plant swap in Jun. 1995, with over 200 expert and novice gardeners sharing plants and gardening experiences. Jewels of Southern horticulture were exchanged during the event, such as ginger lilies, walking iris, cannas, touch-me-nots and night-blooming cereus.
