Brief descriptions of eight species of hummingbirds that are commonly seen in flower gardens are presented. The eight species are: Allen's , Rufous, Anna's, Black-chinned, Costa's, Calliope, Broad-Tailed, and Ruby-Throated. The adult males are the most distinctive because of their bright colors.

Sweetpotatoes
