The irresistible epimediums
Article Abstract:
Recent introductions of epimediums from Japan and China have delighted plant collectors. Epimediums are generally native to Eastern Europe, Asia and North Africa. These woodland plants are easy to grow and thrive in humus-rich, moist soil in low light or partial shade. Epimediums are easily propagated by division and serve as an effective groundcover in Zone 5 and some Zone 4 areas.
