Article Abstract:
The southern prairies and plains are characterized by the weather and soil conditions and the size of the region makes it challenging to recommend specific habitat plantings, handful of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants. It is suggested that communities of plants should be built to support each other and provide maximum food and shelter for wildlife.
