A visit to the Scottish Tartan Museum and Heritage Center, in Franklin, NC, is recommended. The center introduces Scotland to travellers through exhibits showing Scotland's ties with the American south and the tartans. The exhibits include a collection of maps, portraits, videos, swords, knives and shields of the battling clans.

Anniversary of hope
Article Abstract:
The terrorist blast at Oklahoma City took 168 lives and also affected many Americans. The Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum remembered and honored those who lost in the blast, and celebrated the steady recovery of the community from the mishap.

Heavenly hillwood
