Throwing the driveway a curve

Article Abstract:

Landscape architect Clifton Egger created a curved driveway that led to the front of Jack and Betty Love McLarty's Jackson, MS, home to encourage visitors to use the front entrance rather than the kitchen entrance. The driveway also provides additional parking and improves drainage.

Diving in to a difficult site

Article Abstract:

Vaughn and Sharon Walton of Pineville, LA, consulted landscape architect Jeffrey Carbo and designer Barbara Downs to create a pool and cabana in their sloping yard. Muted colors and columns blend the pool area and cabana with the surrounding pine trees.
