Article Abstract:
Jonathan and Jo-kelly Wolk designed their three-car garage and planned the construction process. They used 'Corel Draw' software on their home computer to create the basic design, which a structural architect finished for $200. Two other triple-bay design are highlighted.

Photographs and drawings are presented of the six decks that won 'the Today's Homeowner' 1997 Deck Contest. Three were designed by professionals and three by homeowners. A variety of materials are represented including mahogany and wood-polymer lumber.
