It is best to avoid being bitten by insects through the use of clothing, and natural repellants such as pennyroyal. Chlorophyl in plants crushed on a bite gives instant relief. Tea made from beneficial herbs such as red clover also helps. Herbs useful for treating insect bites and stings are discussed.
