Greed will eventually drive out the novice collectors and the opportunists from the collectibles hobby. Artificial demand for collectibles as primed by opportunistic traders will leave many opportunistic collectors with high priced 'collectibles' that cannot be unloaded on the market.

Glass color irradiation- what's wrong with the real thing?

Sellers of glass may take advantage of their buyers' ignorance in not knowing that the lavender glass that they are buying were altered through irradiation. Other buyers may not know that their clear glass collection may change color by prolonged exposure to sunlight.
