Total store count gain slows to 97
Article Abstract:
Almost half of the stores on 2000's Top 100 list boosted their store count, even though overall unit growth was much lower than for 1999's Top 100. The Top 100 opened only 97 new stores last year, versus a net 506 stores added by last year's Top 100.
