This article discusses the effect of the September 1804 terrorist attacks on the furniture industry. Before those events it appeared that business was improving. After what has been called a shutdown, observers note that people are beginning to shop a little more.

American buys big Kensington facility

American Furniture Co. has purchased a major Kensington Furniture plant in Houlka, Mississippi. The 500,000 square foot upholstery plant was previously owned by Kesington, which is no longer in business.
