The Marciniks, both architects, did most of the interior finishing themselves after replacing the foundation with radiant heating, a new roof, and finding a custom sawmill for the ceiling planks. They then decorated with '50s furnishings and art, winning an automobile for their efforts.

Moving to a field of dreams
Article Abstract:
A foursquare farmhouse built around the turn of the century on the Eastern Shore of Maryland was renovated to meet the needs of the new owners. It was moved 100 yards to a view of the Chesapeake Bay, windows were replaced and the wiring and plumbing were updated.
