Article Abstract:
Details of the renovation of a century old house near Boston, Massachusettes are presented. The 4,000 square foot house took eight months to remodel. Architect Gerry Frank and designer Celeste Cooper were careful to maintain balance between exterior and interior elements.

Fine tuning the fifties

A Hollywood Hills, CA, home had a fine exterior, but the interior was uninspired. Architect Mark Rios revamped the house in keeping with the period for owner Rand Schrader. The kitchen and dining room were important to Schrader, who is a fan of fine cuisine.
