BHFC sells 3 Ethan Allen stores in Connecticut

Ethan Allen, a manufacturer and retailer of upscale home furnishings, has bought three Ethan Allen stores in Connecticut from Huffman Koos, a unit of Breuners Home Furnishings Corp. (BHFC), for an undisclosed amount. The three stores, which are located in Connecticut's Milford, Southington and Norwalk, used to be part of BHFC's purchase in early 1998 of the 11-store Wayside Furniture. With the recent purchase, Ethan Allen now has six Ethan Allen stores in Connecticut, including its flagship branch in Danbury, CT.
