La-Z-Boy profit falls 41.6%

Article Abstract:

The net income of La-Z-Boy, the giant manufacturer and retailer has nosedive by 41.6% as the company shoed declining profits for the seventh consecutive quarter. Though sales shoed a marginal rise of 4.4% in the quarter ended Oct.23, profits have been hampered by rising raw material cost and inefficiencies at production plants. The company is however optimistic of the future with a clear strategy established.

Hooker profit jumps 23.8%
