Architect Stephen Shortridge of Israel Callas Shortridge Associates designed a kitchen renovation for Marla and Wesley Strick's Los Angeles home that features the color combination of orange and lime green. The kitchen combines angles from the house and the pool that the kitchen faces.

Mayne has made additions to his home to accomodate his growing family and has used unconventional design ideas. One of these is the shower, which is sunk into the ground in the middle of the lower level and acts as an organizing element. The home was used in the 1995 film 'Heat.'
