An island no more
Article Abstract:
Brazilians are geographically mobile, and the Brazilian middle class is expanding. There is a need for a better public education system in Brazil for further progress to be achieved. Progress has been achieved on control of inflation and trade liberalization, but full political reform is also needed. More should be spent on health and education, and less on bureaucracy. Brazil could become a developed economy if the government pursues the right policies.
