South Cone program to benefit Peruvians

Article Abstract:

South Cone Trading Co. has initiated a 'Giving Back' program aimed at creating a fund to finance economic advancement projects for Peruvians as well as to protect the rain forests in Peru. In particular, South Cone plans to use a percentage of its sales and promote fund-raising activities in order to operate a crafts and design school in Peru that will provide quality education and provide direction to a large number of native Peruvian craftsmen. The company will also educate other wood users about environmental awareness and profitability as well as improve technology to reduce wood scrap.

Bomar in larger facility

Article Abstract:

Bomar Industries has moved to a new facility in Lake Worth, Florida that will triple its capacity. The 68,000-square-foot facility will enable the company to expand its customer base.
