The Abiah Taylor house
Article Abstract:
One of the oldest houses in Pennsylvania is that of Abiah Taylor in Chester County which dates back to 1724. John and Wynne Milner, who bought the house in the early 1990s, have restored it, using the original structure as inspiration and reference. It is one of 16 historic houses in the district.

Georgia vernacular, a bridge to the past
Article Abstract:
The Lewis house built between 1810 and 1830 and the Stewart house built in the 1840s were joined to form the Robinsons' house in Sandersville, GA. The combined house was an ideal setting for the Robinsons' collection of plain-style, Georgia-made 19th century furniture.
