Faith Bybee had a collection of antique German pieces and other examples of American furniture which she kept at her own outdoor museum, Henkel Square. Her extensive collection was informed by her sharp intelligence and an acquisitive and inquisitive nature. She died in the fall of 1996 at the age of 96.

A sixteen-sided, threshing barn is built on Mount Vernon from plans drawn up in 1792 by George Washington. As much a scientific farmer as he was an American hero, Washington designed the barn for a more efficient and economical processing of wheat, rye and oats.

Another brown house in Providence
Article Abstract:
Nancy Sherren saw the potential of an abandoned red house in Providence, RI. She bought the house and restored it to its near-original form and added a second floor for more space. The project was achieved through help from architect Warren Lanpher.
