The article discusses the effects of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks have had on Theresa Pickard of Sleepy's and Adam Levine, co-owner of Basics Furniture. Both furniture companies are based in NY. Arlington, VA-based Danker Furniture, near the Pentagon, served as a refuge for some government employees who escaped from the attack on the Pentagon.
