Human resources managers must remember the bottom line

Article Abstract:

There is an excess of hard-nosed line managers who view the job of personnel director as a way to do good deeds, and, at best, an evil which is necessary. It should be realized that the human resource manager has a responsibility to add to profits for the company. The human resource manager may have considerable impact on profits for the firm by acting to help keep down costs, and help increase profits and revenues.

How to choose the most effective media vehicle

Article Abstract:

There are two main decisions to be made when choosing a certain media for the recruitment advertising drive: the general type of medium to be used and the exact media to used. In comparing media, consider how effective the medium will be for reaching the target audience. The higher the percentage of the circulation for the publication, the greater the efficiency of the publication for advertising.
