Article Abstract:

Recent legislation means that those who collect waste, those who transport it and those who dispose of it are meant to police each other. This had led to random samples taken to disposal sites being tested for materials other than household rubbish. After recent court cases it is likely that those disposing of this type of waste will only use sites implementing checks to cover themselves against any liability.
