AstraZeneca PLC's pilot teleworking project in Italy has become a success. The company is planning to extend teleworking to 10% of its employees, as well as to a second corporate site.

Public sector workers strike

Employees in Italy's public sector went on strike for a day on May 19, 2003. The workers were expressing their support for their call for the renewal of their collective agreement.
