The IWW at one hundred: The return of the haunted hall?
Article Abstract:
Multiple scholarly and popular conferences are scheduled to pay homage to the memory of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and the tradition of labor radicalism that they exemplified, on the occasion of the one-hundredth anniversary of the founding of the IWW. Also, a lavish collection of original IWW art, cartoons, poetry, and songs plus graphics by contemporary illustrators, cartoonists, poets, and lyricists are compiled and edited by Paul Buble and Nicole Schulman.

Commentary: Wobbly inspiration
Article Abstract:
The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) is described by its members and its devotees, as the 'Greatest Thing on Earth'. During the years 1912-1913, the IWW led some of the most dramatic strikes in decades, including a huge success among textile workers of Lawrence, Massachusetts and the textile workers of Peterson, New Jersey.
