Aetna introduces policy for food and beverage wholesalers

Aetna Life and Casualty Co has introduced a new insurance line, called the Food and Beverage Wholesalers Program. The line is intended for wholesale food and beverage businesses that fall under Standard Industry Codes (SIC) 5141 through 5149 as well as SIC 5181 and 5182. Policy deductibles vary from $5,000 to $50,000 and separate limits for various forms of property damage and losses can be specified. The policy also has optional coverage for unusual situations such as marine transportation or refrigeration equipment breakdown.

Liability limits are not set, but $25 million is typical. Deductibles start at $1,000 for collections and $250 for other property.
