Following business abroad

Article Abstract:

Insurance corporations are acquiring market shares on foreign shores in response to the opportunity of regulatory liberalization around the world. These insurers are advised to develop a reputation for local expertise and knowledge, and are encouraged to establish a presence in the countries where their clients set up operations to develop a strong bond with these clients, thereby contributing to effective global expansion. Companies must then focus on building economics within the group by cross-selling services and products and fusing backoffice functions upon creating a strong global image.
