New medicare prescription drug discount card program
Article Abstract:
The Medicare Prescription Drug Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003 has introduced a new discount card program. This program provides medicare beneficiaries immediate assistance in paying for prescription drugs. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has approved 73 entities to offer drug discount cards. The details of the discount card programs are discussed.

Consumer-directed health plans were least costly plan in 2004
Article Abstract:
A study conducted on consumer-directed health plans (CDHs), and on eighty-eight employers in 2004, indicates that these plans are cost effective to these employers as compared to other health plans. The results of the study, are detailed.
