Defined contribution strategies and consumer driven health care: a primer for plan sponsors
Article Abstract:
With health care costs increasing and the economy tightening, corporate health benefit plans have found a better way to manage and control costs known as the Defined Contribution (DC) strategy, where the employer gives the employee a set amount of money to pay for health care and the employee has an equal responsibility for his health care decisions.
