Panel: the insurance globe is growing ever smaller
Article Abstract:

Tort reform tops agenda, but states take lead
Article Abstract:
Congress has begun considering tort reform in earnest, and the insurance industry is part of a broad based business lobbying effort to ensure passage of tort reform legislation. A product liability bill has been passed by both the House and Senate, and a House-Senate reconciliation committee is expected to create a product liability bill that will be offered to Pres Clinton for his signature in the spring of 1996.
