Post employment benefits: how to reach your retirees

Article Abstract:

The effective management of retiree programs necessitates maintaining communication with retirees. However, communicating with them requires a strategic approach which includes a well-defined objective, identifying obstacles to the communication process, identifying stakeholders, setting measurable goals, and determining the funding for the communication program. Communication mediums which can be implemented include phased-in print materials and video, forums, and telephone assistance. Conducting program assessment will determine if goals are met so that necessary adjustments can be made.
