Insurers and brokers working in a direct competition must enhance the value delivered to the group administrators and employees. Efficiency and effectiveness of sales and service process must be increased. Insurers and brokers who can establish the best relationship and work most effectively together will be rewarded with increased revenue.

The small purchasing pool benefits the employer, employee, agent and HIPC.

The wealth of information available to insurance professionals demands that they develop a system to organize this information in a way that makes it manageable. The starting point for such a system is customer need. In catering to the customer, producers should keep to proven strategies. The value of information should be determined, as much can be discarded as irrelevant to the consumer.
