Underwriters should go "site-seeing" on Internet
Article Abstract:
Insurance underwriters should begin to use the Internet to search for data about diseases, mortality and other information related to insurance. World Wide Web sites that are of interest to insurers include the National Institute for Occupation Safety and Health, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly. Underwriters can also use the Internet to access industry white papers, research, and model laws.
