Universal life policy survey
Article Abstract:
A review of 185 universal life policies was conducted. Quartile rankings for current interest rates, mortality charges and accumulation values were established. The policies with the highest interest rates did not necessarily have the lowest mortality charges. Several of the insurance companies had included enhancements to their policies, such as mortality charge refunds and credited interest rate bonuses.
