A common European foreign policy after Iraq?
Article Abstract:
This article evaluates the European Union's foreign and military policy. The author, focusing on the development of the Common Foreign and Security Policy, argues that for the European Union to carry significant influence on foreign policy issues is for the members of the union to make a real commitment and contribution and securing the authority to work with third world nations.

An international civilization? Empire, internationalism and the crisis of the mid-twentieth century
Article Abstract:
The belief of an international civilization in nineteenth century and early twentieth century thinking on international relations is explored. A global international order after 1945 through the United Nations came about simultaneously with the collapse of the idea of an international civilization.
