Article Abstract:
Gordon Crawford gives answers to the objections raised by authors Andi Mallarangeng and Peter Van Tuijl for his views on the concept of `Partnership' in contemporary development and discourse using the Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia (the Partnership) as an example. It is suggested that there is a need to question the current pervasive trend by international actors to present their development interventions in the form of partnerships.
