Europe's Jihadist dilemma
Article Abstract:
Scholars and analysts are in broad agreement that Europe has evolved into a nerve centre for the global jihad, and also future attacks against the West are most likely to be planned and executed from Europe. The Salafi jihadist network in Europe is extensive and especially since September 11, Western intelligence service have uncovered jihadist structures in most major Western European countries, and addressing the problem calls for long-term policies in the areas of domestic freedom, stability and prosperity, ending the current state of denial and accepting that there is a problem.

Risks and opportunities in Somalia
Article Abstract:
A brief overview of Somalia's plight on its increasing instability is presented considering the risen debates on the threats it poses regionally and globally and the energising of global jihad. It is argued that it is a political opportunity for the United States and European powers to break and tame the Somali Islamists and forge a better relationship with Islam.

Irreversible peace in Northern Ireland?
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the achievements that the Good Friday Agreement has bought to the violent, political problems in Northern Ireland are presented. Particular reference is made to the opportunity to give terrorists a means to address problems using dialogue rather than violence.
