Misrecognitions and missed opportunities: post-structuralism and the practice of development
Article Abstract:
Producing critiques in the field of development by post-structuralists to be changed by moving towards post-discourse era, has different views, which are based on misrecognitions. Engaging these aspects and bringing its own difficulties would help emerge out a partnership accepted by both the developers and the critics.

Indigenous knowledges and development: a postcolonial caution
Article Abstract:
Indigenous knowledge demands local voices and priorities, which promises empowerment through ownership of land. Postcolonial theory is indicative that indigenous knowledge with regards to development are used by theorists and development institutions in a limiting manner, retarding the prospects of enhancing it further.
