Article Abstract:
A study questioning the endorsement of the rule of law by human rights lawyers, activists and politicians against the exception of Guantanamo is illustrated. Law cannot regulate irregular combatants, however, the exception of international humanitarian or domestic constitutional law is not the same as the exceptional space of Guantanamo or the exceptional practices of the war on terror.
