Migratory coping in wartime Mozambique: An anthropology of violence and displacement in 'fragmented wars'
Article Abstract:
A study on the ethnographic work in the central Mozambique is carried out to demonstrate how local actors regard political alignment during the Mozambican civil conflict as a tool for engaging in family- and community-level political struggles. A discussion on how anthropological approaches can contribute to the demographic analysis of forced migration in culturally diversified war zones is presented.
