Conflict of interest or bona fide employees: the status of paid union organizers
Article Abstract:
Conflicting decisions have addressed the employment status of paid union organizers, but they should be denied legal protection under the National Labor Relations Act. In some cases, organizers have been treated as employees and thereby protected in their efforts, as when merely applying for a job and gaining access to facilities. Other decisions have found organizers holding a conflict of interest with employers.

Recent developments and the likely effect of changes at the National Labor Relations Board
Article Abstract:

Several of the important issues and cases before the Board are reviewed.
