Dump it here, I need the money: restoration damages for temporary injury to real property held for personal use
Article Abstract:
Courts have at times allowed restoration damages in excess of the market value of the property in question when the landowner wanted the property restored for personal reasons and market diminution damages would not be a full compensation for losses. This personal reasons exception is well established, but different tests for its application in different courts and in different states risk producing different results. A three-part test similar to that used in New Hampshire and Arizona would be an appropriate balance of fully compensating for losses and avoiding an undue windfall.

LSC backers real ones to blame
Article Abstract:
The activities of many Legal Services Corp (LSC) grantees since the US Congress imposed restrictions on its activities make dubious the sincerity of its commitment to the poor. The restrictions pertain to activities including political advocacy and representing nonresident aliens. The death of an abused wife and client of Inland County Legal Services Corp in Riverside, CA, is recounted.
