Emissions trading for global warming
Article Abstract:
Proponents for the reduction of man-made emissions of greenhouse gases are mistaken. They clamor for broad and expensive changes in the manner in which energy is being utilized all the over the world. They also argue that an emissions trading program would drastically decrease the expenses incurred. However, an analysis of the performance of two emissions trading programs leaves much to be desired. Also, the international aspects of the Kyoto Protocol's suggested greenhouse gas trading strategy introduces complications.
