Ethical perspectives on the Postmodern Communications Leviathan
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to examine the ethical implications of a Postmodern Marketing Communications Leviathan. Contemporary ethical issues were analyzed based on the ethical perspectives of postmodern critical theory, cognitive psychology, Enlightenment philosophy and the works of Aristotle and Plato. Results suggest that Aristotle's philosophy, which is consistent with the concept of laissez faire, would place the Marketing Communications Leviathan above State control while Western Christian ethical approach, which is more consistent with Plato's philosophy would put some collective social responsibility on the state.

Ethics sensitivity and awareness within organizations in Kuwait: an empirical exploration of espoused theory and theory-in-use
Article Abstract:
A survey was conducted in six agencies within the Kuwaiti administrative system to determine the ethics sensitivity and awareness of public organization employees. Results indicate that Kuwaiti employees, in general, have a high level of ethical sensitivity for they are aware of the moral hazards that ill-behavior will bring them. In addition, it was noted that Kuwaiti employees are most unlikely to commit financial wrongdoings and harm to others as these two behaviors are considered to be the most unethical.
