Resolving international contract disputes
Article Abstract:
The 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods provided a platform for unifying international contract law. The convention recognized common principles of law. The principles can be used as guides for those resolving international contract disputes. Good faith and fair dealing are two important principles that apply to all participants, regardless of nationality, political ideology, or economic goals.

Mediating communications and high-tech disputes
Article Abstract:
High-tech companies must change entrenched habits and develop systematic plans to reap the benefits of using mediation to settle disputes. The habit of litigating disputes is expensive and time consuming, contrary to the flexible and productive mode in which high-tech companies operate. Written plans outlining mediation procedures should be developed.
