The European Court of Justice (ECJ) Order in Laurent Piau case highlights the limits of FIFA's (the international governing body of football) regulatory powers under Community law. The Court while dealing with the case assessed whether the FIFA rules on players' agents are contrary to Article 81(1) EC and whether they can be exempted on proper practice grounds.
