Marketing strategy, product safety, and ethical factors in consumer choice
Article Abstract:
The moral responsibility of firms to provide safe and high-quality products has prompted a number of manufacturing companies to raise the level of safety standards they use. Results gathered from a study involving 91 randomly selected subjects revealed that providing negligence information tends to increase consumer preference on products manufactured by well-respected companies. This eventually, may lead to the reduced marketability of products based on inferior safety standards.
