Article Abstract:
Law firm client's demands for timely, cost-effective legal services have increased the complexity of the information technology function and outsourcing can prove an effective strategy to manage technology. Outsourcing should be of commodity tasks, or those not specific to the legal market, including the design and installation of wide-area networks, the installation and maintenance of network-based software, the management of communication systems, and the maintenance and troubleshooting of PC and printer equipment.
