Article Abstract:
Attorneys hiring people to do nationwide investigations supporting multidistrict lawsuits must ensure reliability, quality and high ethics. Investigators must be licensed in all jurisdictions in which they will work, must have secure communications and uniform written reports and must share their methods. The attorney to whom they report must have a system delegating all work which others can take care of. A system for selecting the lead investigator and managing the investigation is given.
