Article Abstract:
The trend in for-profit education provides a recipe for discrimination in education since it envisions a grouping of different schools serving students with different needs and one group would target students' whose families ascribe great importance to education. For-profit education dovetails with the Bush Administration's voucher program and is exemplified by Whittle Communications' Edison Project. Moreover, the corporation directing a school system would assume undue power when all educational choices were made by them.
